About Latisha Sternod, MS:

Latisha Sternod is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Director, Trauma Consultant,  professional member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, and former adjunct professor for the Department of Psychology at Washington State University. In 2011, Latisha graduated with a Master of Science in Psychology in Counseling and has used her education to better the lives of others. This includes a diverse population ranging from Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, and non-profits. She has since founded a mental health counseling organization and a Catholic life coaching business. She currently offers and oversees healing and coaching services that integrate psychological principles and spiritual truths from the Catholic Christian tradition. As a survivor of childhood trauma herself, Latisha knows firsthand the central role God plays in gently offering and facilitating healing to those who seek it. Latisha founded both organizations on the key teachings of Jesus to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37,39; John 13:34-35) and every human person possesses an equal God-given dignity (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 10:17-19; Psalms 139:13-16). Outside of her professional life, Latisha and her husband, Brandon, have two teenage sons. As a family they love quality time together, usually hiking, camping, snowboarding, and going to various sporting events for the boys. When things slow down with sports, they like having time together at home with their far too many cats.
