Our Vianney Cenacle began in June of 2015 based off of Kathleen Beckman’s inspirational book, Praying for Priests, An Urgent Call for the Salvation of Souls.
The Vianney Cenacle is a holy hour every Thursday at 7pm. It consists of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a short lecture on some aspect of discerning a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, an period of silent prayer and adoration, then the Rosary led by either our pastor Father Lappe or Deacon Hamlin and we finish the Hour with Benediction.
Kathleen Beckman’s book is both informational, inspirational and an urgent call for young men to answer the call to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ. We firmly believe that our prayerful efforts here at Our Lady Star of the Sea will bear fruit.
Please put this on your calendar to join us for this blessed hour every month to pray for our priests, our pastor, our archbishop and all the baby vocations sitting in our pews listening for the voice of God to call them to HIS service.
For this month we won’t be gathering but I am asking everyone to consider making a Holy Hour today for the intention of priests and vocations. This can even be done at home if you cannot come to the church – click here for the livestream of the church.
