The Missionaries would like to express their gratitude for your support, prayers, and welcoming Spirit. Here are some of the fruits of the Missionary Program:

Hey Missionaries, what have you enjoyed most about the program?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4715″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]“The opportunity to grow in relationships with the youth of this parish has been such a blessing. There are several teens that I have seen grow tremendously in the faith and love of Christ. I’m so honored to be able to witness Christ transforming the hearts and lives of our young people.”  -Bridgette[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4709″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]“We have loved being able to take spontaneous trips and adventures with many of the young adults here at Star of the Sea. Our journey has consisted of backpacking in Oregon, chasing waterfalls throughout the PNW, horseback riding (Bridgette’s first time!), seeing a volcano (first time for all three of us!!), and exploring the city of Seattle.”  -Gabby[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]“Being welcomed into so many homes to share a meal or play boardgames has been such a blessing. It is so beautiful to see such faithful families in this parish really striving for holiness. Everyone’s generous hospitality is so appreciated!”  -Tess[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”4713″ img_size=”large” alignment=”right”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1482348166716{background-color: #353972 !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”4710″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]A Youth Testimony:

I have been Catholic all my life, but growing up I was never really involved in my Catholic faith. I felt like I couldn’t call it my own. In 9th grade I found myself in desolation with Jesus. 10th grade would have been even worse if it weren’t for one of the missionaries that came to Star. The missionary and I started to get coffee once a week. We would read the bible and talk about our week. While I was growing in my relationship with the missionary, I was also growing in my relationships with my family, friends, and God. The missionary helped me learn to love and appreciate my Catholic faith more.
