About Jim Johnson
My name is Jim Johnson and I was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. I joined the Air Force in 1985 and was eventually stationed in Hawaii at Hickam AFB. I met me wife in March of 1986 and we were married in Nov of the same year. We have lived in several states since then, but have called Our Lady Star of the Sea home, since May of 2001.
We live in Seabeck, WA where we raised 3 children. Our son Aaron and daughters Lauren and Elise. All of them our grown now and married and we have since added 3 grandchildren as well; Lenox, Casten and Alder.
I have enjoyed a lot of sports over the years; playing, coaching and just watching. I have played baseball, football, hockey, golf and soccer and coached our sone Aaron in baseball for about 15 years. Colleen and I now enjoy a casual round of golf from time to time, but really enjoy heading east of the mountain for some relaxing wine tasting in the sun. We have also been blessed with some opportunity to travel and to see places that have helped us grow in our faith. We have been to Rome and many other parts of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece and the Holy Lands in Israel. God is good!
