Fulfilling the Vision Update
Since launching our Fulfilling the Vision campaign at the beginning of the year, we’ve attempted to reach out to all of our parishioners through face-to-face meetings, gatherings, bulletin flyers, mailings, and phone calls. This is your parish and your vision.
It’s been wonderful to witness the incredible generosity of so many of our parishioners. We have received $3.3 million in pledges so far. But it’s clear that we will not be able to reach our goal of $4.5 million.
How does a lower budget change 'Fulfilling the Vision'?
The vision remains the same:
- More level parking closer to the church
- An elevator to increase accessibility to Camerman Hall
- A dedicated Adoration Chapel for the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
- More meeting spaces
- A welcoming and inviting parish office
What changes will be made to the campus plans?
At this point, we’re still working with architects and parishioner input to study alternative ways to meet our goals. We’re evaluating what changes we might make to our existing Parish Center or build a new Parish Office with some additional meeting spaces. The revised plan will not include building a new gym.
Why are we still collecting money when we don't yet have a plan?
We still intend to Fulfill the Vision. By continuing to collect money, we maintain our timeframe for building the revised plan which also hedges against rising construction costs.
When will we have new design drawings?
We hope to be able to share those in three months or so.
