DESCRIPTION:Solemnity of the Most Holy Body & Blood of Jesus Christ\nThe Corpus Christi Procession gives the Catholic believer a unique opportunity to proclaim their Eucharistic faith to the world. We believe that Jesus Christ is truly present among us through the Sacrament of the Eucharist\, and thus during the procession we are showing that faith to the world. \nSCHEDULE: \n\n12:30-1:15PM Corpus Christi Film – There will be a showing of the “Faith Prevails: The Miracle of Bolsena” film by Solenne Santiago in Camerman Hall.\n1:30 – 2:30PM Procession – We will process with the Holy Eucharist followed by Benediction. \n2:30 – 4:00PM BBQ Reception – There will be a BBQ Potluck Reception Camerman Hall (church basement) after the Procession. Please bring a dish to share! Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided by the Knights of Columbus. \n\nThe procession will begin at Star of the Sea Church at 1:30pm and go through the surrounding neighborhood to designated stations. These will be in the front yards of homes belonging to local parish families where altars will be set up for benediction. It will conclude back at Star with a final blessing followed by a BBQ potluck reception in Camerman Hall. It will be a wonderful day of prayer & celebration in honor of the Most Blessed Sacrament! \nVolunteers needed!
