Making his Perpetual vows in 1993\, he went on to earn his Master’s degree in Theology in 1995 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1997. \nHis first assignment after ordination was in Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific where he served for four years. On January 3\, 2025\, Fr. Joseph was one of our friars who received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal as a commendation for their service to the country of Papua New Guinea. \nReturning to the US in 2001\, he has ministered in various capacities as a parochial vicar and pastor\, as well as a military and hospital chaplain; he also served in our Province’s Custody of Puerto Rico. \nFr.
