Elizabeth proclaims: “Most blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me\, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” (Luke 1:42-43\, emphasis added). Mary’s role as mother of God places her in a unique position in God’s redemptive plan.Without naming Mary\, Paul asserts that “God sent his Son\, born of a woman\, born under the law” (Galatians 4:4). DESCRIPTION:Star of the Sea Church will be hosting a viewing of a first class relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis on Friday\, July 4th. Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino of Assisi will celebrate the 9:00am Mass\, followed by a conference. Afterward\, the relic will be available for public veneration. \n\nBlessed Carlo Acutis\, the first millennial to be beatified\, was an Italian teen with an expertise in computer programming and website design. He used his talents to create a website that documented Eucharistic miracles and approved Marian apparitions. His mission in life was to use his skills for the glory of God and to spread his love of the Blessed Sacrament to all.  \nBl. Carlo Acutis is scheduled to be canonized on September 7\, 2025 alongside Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati.
