Attention adult volunteers for Youth Ministry! This event is for those who would like to volunteer with the youth ministry in any capacity, at any level of commitment. Join other Catholics from around the Archdiocese for a 24-hour workshop to teach valuable ministry skills, an opportunity for our volunteer team to meet, and receive inspiration from exceptional Catholic leaders.

Featured Speakers Lorissa Horn
coordinates youth ministry for St. John’s Cathedral in Boise, Idaho. Lorissa is a 14-year veteran of youth ministry who was joined by her husband and partner in ministry Johnny almost ten years ago after a far-flung love story they will share at Core24. Lorissa directs the wildly successful Idaho Catholic Youth Convention, a high school event that draws about 1500 teens each year. Johnny and Lorissa have five beautiful children: Joshua, Caleb, Noah, Gianna, and Matthew, all age six and under.
 Sister Miriam James Heidland
is a sister of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) serving at St. Alphonsus Church in Seattle. She is the Director for the Apostolic Novitiate and the co-host of a Catholic radio talk show. She played volleyball for the University of Nevada and has a degree in Communications and a minor in Journalism.
