What are “Home Groups?” Home groups are small groups that meet in homes for social time and a time of study and discussion.
What is the purpose? To grow in the faith and support each other in Christian community.
Are there any commitments? There are no formal commitments, when you feel the need to exit your group you can do so without feeling guilty.
What do they Study? Once established, a group can choose from many different studies. To begin, we will be watching Robert Barron’s new “Catholicism” video series. In this series, Robert Barron takes the viewer on a journey around the world and deep into the Faith in an unprecedented, epic media experience. Click here for more info on the Catholicism series.
When do they meet? There are now two groups, a Monday and a Tuesday group. To begin, the first groups will meet most Monday and Tuesday nights during Advent from 6pm – 7:45pm (Nov 28, Dec 5 and Dec 19). Following Advent, the groups will decide on how often to meet in the New Year (weekly, bi-weekly or once a month).
Where do they meet? During Advent, the studies will meet in the homes of different young adults and young families. Contact Josh for location details.
Who can come? These home groups are intended for young adults, ages 19-39. Children are also welcome, and activities can often be coordinated for children during the video/discussion portion.
Mark your calendar, the first meetings are this week: Monday, Nov 28 or Tuesday, Nov 29 from 6:00-7:45pm! RSVP to Josh for Location Details (please include which group you want to join).
