After much work, the librarians have input all the book titles into a site called Library Thing so parishioners can now browse the parish library from home! More from Linda D.:
The librarians have completed cataloging the parish's collection of books, CDs, DVDs, VHS, and audio tapes so you can now browse them online. They are listed alphabetically by author, but you can use the "search" feature to look for particular titles. Also, clicking on a "tag" will open a list of all books within that subject category. To see all subject tags, click on the tab with that title.
Please write down the LC Classification number, along with the author's name and the book title. These will enable you to find a particular book or media on the library shelves. Once you find your book or media selection, please fill out the card in the back with your name and phone number. Checkout time is one month. Books may be returned to Camerman Hall on weekends or to the parish office during weekdays.
Please return your books in a timely manner, leaving them in the bottom corner shelf (it's marked). Please do not re-shelve the books or the cards.
Additional new shelves arrived just before Easter, and they will allow some growing room. Donations to the library may be left at the parish office. Please let us know if there are particular titles you would like added to our Wish List!
